I joined the Long Beach Art League in the summer of 2025 after attending a life drawing session. Everyone was very welcoming and I felt compelled to join the LBAL soon after.

Joining the Long Beach Art League is the best thing that has ever happened to me as an artist. It has developed my understanding of exhibiting, networking, and my appreciation of volunteering.

In June 2026 I joined the Board of Directors as the Correspondence Secretary. My goals in this role are to make it easier for people to learn about the benefits of the LBAL, and to easily take advantage of them (the benefits, not the LBAL).
